Sundown In The South is an exotic animal rescue organization. We are no longer intaking domestics (cats & dogs). Below is a listing of multiple shelters that still deal with domestics.
PLEASE NOTE:
Every pet owner is responsible for finding a forever home for their pet should they no longer be able to provide care. A shelter is not a home. Shelters and rescue groups need to be able to focus on the countless animals that don't have homes and/or those that need to be pulled because of abuse, neglect, cruelty.
*** Shelters & rescue groups are not supported by the heavily funded HSUS or the American Humane Society. Please support your local shelters. They need your help.
